In communities where overcrowded classrooms, underqualified teaching, and a lack of resources hold learners back, education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty. KHULA’s Top-Up Teaching programme is not only improving grades – it is empowering young people, supporting teachers, and strengthening entire communities.
Bridging the Digital Divide
In 2025, RubiBlue joined the Advantage Learn Foundation to deliver state-of-the-art teaching technology and connectivity directly into rural classrooms. Our contribution includes:
- Neo Series educator devices and licenses for learners and teachers
- Laptops for educators with classroom access
- Uncapped Wi-Fi connectivity for KHULA’s learning centres
These tools are helping over 1,100 students and teachers gain reliable access to digital learning resources – something many rural schools have previously gone without. By providing both devices and connectivity, we are helping bridge the digital divide that often isolates rural communities from the opportunities of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
