RubiBlue, intelligent business solutions provider, has invested into new talent and skills as part of its 2018 strategic growth plans and to further its commitment to provide much-needed employment opportunities. Several new employees have joined the organisation since January 2018, each one bringing a rich set of skills and abilities to the company.
“Our strategy for 2018 is to increase our staff by 45% so we can consistently expand our capabilities and deliver exceptional client solutions across Africa,” says Chris Ogden, Managing Director, RubiBlue. “To this end, we welcome Kgothatso Mabaso, Sizanani Zungu, Holly Guard and Grant Rees-Bevan to RubiBlue.”
Kgothatso Mabaso has joined RubiBlue as an easiPol Sales Executive and brings with her an impressive array of expertise and talent. At 26, she is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional who has been working since the age of 19, building her skills in technology and developing an affinity for working with people.
“I sell solutions to problems,” says Mabaso. “My role is to make my clients’ business functions both seamless and easy to manage. I enjoy this role because every day is an adventure and I get the opportunity to make somebody’s life easier. I find the products and services that RubiBlue offer very relevant today and I knew that this is where I belong. There is also so much support and encouragement here that, for the first time in a long time, I wake up with a smile.”
Holly Guard and Grant Rees-Bevan both work in easiPoint sales and bring their own unique flavours to the role. Guard started her professional career at Momentum and then moved to Twincare International as a National Sales and Education Manager which allowed her to challenge herself and grow. She moved to RubiBlue because she appreciated the ethos and the company culture.
“It’s important for me to be part of an organisation which has values aligned to my own,” she says. “I found that in RubiBlue – their core values are reflected not only in the customer experience, but in how they treat and value their employees.”
For family man, Rees-Bevan, the move made sense as he came into the role from many years of consulting experience in the financial sector. He is focused on taking easiPoint and its capabilities into the African continent and a variety of markets and industries.
“The opportunities and possibilities with easiPoint are endless and the satisfaction of making a difference for our clients drives me onwards,” he says. “My time at RubiBlue so far has been enjoyable as we have an awesome working environment. It doesn’t feel like work when you’re having fun, right?”
There are few roles as important as the ones that face the clients with a smile, and that’s one that Sizanani Zungu has stepped into with exactly that, a smile. Zungu enjoys interacting with people as she believes she has a gift in making them feel comfortable and welcome.
“I am a receptionist at RubiBlue and I welcome clients who come in for meetings and training,” she says. “I enjoy working here because, from the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed. Even special days like birthdays are taken into consideration which is new to me.”
